Monday Getaway: The End of Soul Screamers

I finished the main books in the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent in the series last week. Finally! It was a decent series, but I have to say the ending was pure brilliance. How clever Vincent is. There are two novellas I didn't read, which were released after the end of the last book. I'll mention them here, but I didn't read them. I thought the series ending was satisfying enough. It did leave one arc unresolved, and from what I heard these shorts solve that. Maybe one day I will read it, but for now, I'm moving on.

There is a bonus of a Day in the Afterlife of Tod that's not in book form. It's not really even a story. Think of it more as a schedule--a little peek into what a typical day for Tod is like. Kind of sad and lonely. Read it: Here Then check out the blurbs for the rest of the series.

Monday Getaway: Soul Screamers Vol. 2

I finished Volume 2, so I can present it as a whole for this Monday's Getaway.

Soul Screamers Vol. 2 by Rachel Vincent contains Books 3 and 4 and another novella: My Soul to Keep, My Soul to Steal, and Reaper.

Monday Getaway: My Soul to Keep

Monday's Getaway is My Soul to Keep by Rachel Vincent, Book 3 in the Soul Screamers series. I read it from Volume 2 of the series.

For some reason, this past week was difficult for me to read. It seemed every time I read I'd fall asleep after reading a chapter or two. Thus, I didn't finish Volume 2. I don't know why. Maybe I was more tired than usual, the fact that I read an entirely different series in between Volume 1 and 2, or this book was my least favorite of the series so far.

It wasn't bad, but I kept screaming throughout the whole book, "Just tell your father!" It's probably the adult in me who knew he could help. hehe

Monday Getaway: Soul Screamers

This week's Getaway is the Soul Screamers Series by Rachel Vincent.
I read Volume 1 of the series last week. I have a few volumes to go, so I'll be on this series for awhile. hehe I like having a lot to read.

This is actually three books in one: My Soul to Lose, My Soul to Take, and My Soul to Save. Well, the first is a novella.  Here's the blurbs:
